Advancing in Lymphedema Treatment:
Updating our Knowledge and Techniques
An Advanced Course
for Certified Lymphedema Therapists
Saturday, Apr. 30-Sunday, May 1, 2011, Scottsdale, AZ
The course will address how to deal with complex and challenging patient cases,
including bariatric patients, patients with face/neck edema, truncal edema, and genital edema.
We will look at the latest research on efficacy and best practice, at how
to improve manual techniques, at what products are available and creative ways to improvise.
The core of the course is analyzing case studies presented by participants in order to better
understand how we can achieve optimum results for our patients. The case studies can be success stories or they can be
situations where the results were disappointing. We will learn from both.
So...if you've ever had a patient where you thought--what
do I do, where do I start, why isn't this working? ---then this course is for you.
